Hedge Trimming & Maintenance

Professional hedge trimming and maintenance for residential properties, investment properties and larger gardens throughout Ballarat and surrounding areas.

From routine Buxus maintenance to large, tall and established hedges, all work is priced upfront according to the scope, height, condition, access and finish required.

Indicative Pricing

  • Minimum charge: From $150–$200 for smaller jobs.

  • Half-day service: Approximately $400.

  • Full-day service: Approximately $800.

  • Tall, dense or difficult hedges: Priced according to complexity, access, equipment requirements and time involved.

Half-day and full-day rates are based on the overall work period on site, not continuous cutting time. They allow for setup, moving between hedges, trimming, pack-up and general cleanup.

As a guide, a half day is approximately 3–3.5 hours on site, while a full day is approximately 6–7 hours.

These prices are indicative only. Larger properties with multiple hedges may require several days to complete.

Green Waste Removal

Green waste removal is charged separately when required.

  • Quarter ute load: From $50–$60.

  • Half ute load: From $80–$100.

  • Full ute load: Approximately $150–$180.

Waste charges include loading, transport and disposal, with the final cost depending on the volume and type of material. Multiple loads will incur additional charges.

If suitable, clippings can instead be left neatly on site by prior agreement.

How Quoting Works

I provide fixed-price quotes based on the agreed scope of work, so you know the expected cost before the job begins.

For larger jobs, photos or videos are helpful for an initial assessment. A site inspection may be required to assess access, hedge heights, the amount of trimming needed and green waste requirements before confirming a final price.

To help ensure we're on the same page, please consider the indicative pricing above before requesting a site visit.
